Bangladesh's politicians appear ready to contribute further to the instability of Hindu minority people present in that country as this recent political upheaval tends to indicate. Most Indian Hindus may feel so out of concern for their fellow religionists on the other side, but it is important to delve deeper into these tropes and not take refuge in them.

The Fight for Secularism
Those who demonstrated wanted a less sectarian, more secular Bangladesh which is why the protests that led to Sheikh Hasina's resignation began. The student-driven movement, which brought Hindus and Muslims together, has demanded structural changes to safeguard the rights of minorities.
What should be acknowledged is the fact that Bangladeshi Hindus are not sitting ducks. These people are on the front lines of working for a fair and just community. Their demand for a Minority Affairs Ministry and 10% reservation in Parliament indicate they will ensure their representation within the Bangladeshi polity.
The Misuse of Fear
Misinformation and fear-mongering have gripped some of the Hindu Indian folks. To depict Bangladeshi Hindus as passive contributors to the toxic assertive faith of some vocal forces is a disservice. It is this kind of narrative employed to stoke community fires and create victimization.
We must resist stooping to such harmful tropes and instead, actually listen to the Bangladeshi Hindu voices. They are asking for compassion and sympathy, not pity or a rescue mission.
The Role of Indian Hindus
Also, Indian Hindus have the power to be a substantial force as support for their Bangladeshi counterparts. We can support the causes of justice and equality for everyone by turning up their demands for a secular, inclusive Bangladesh.
It is critical that we not perpetuate stereotypes and listen to Bangladeshi Hindus.
Conclusion
Bangladesh is a challenging landscape. On the right in every country, always and everywhere to encourage a pro-immigrant dialog that respects the interests of all its citizens regardless of creed. By listening to the demands of Bangladeshi Hindus, and pushing for those key asks as well. We can contribute towards a future that values justice more equitably by all parties involved.
